Moth Control

Pantry moths (most commonly the Indian meal moth) infest stored food — grains, cereal, pet food, dried fruit — while clothes moths damage natural fibers like wool and silk. They're frequently confused but require different treatment, since one is a kitchen problem and the other a closet problem.

For pantry moths, locating and discarding the infested food source is the essential first step before any treatment matters; for clothes moths, it's identifying which stored fabrics are actually infested versus simply nearby.
