Cricket Control

Camel crickets (common in damp basements and crawlspaces) and field crickets (which chirp and are drawn indoors by light and warmth in fall) are the two crickets homeowners most often deal with. Neither poses a health risk, but large indoor populations can chew on fabric, paper, and houseplants.

Reducing moisture and clutter in basements and crawlspaces, along with sealing exterior gaps, is usually more effective long-term than repeated indoor treatment, since crickets are drawn in from outside rather than breeding indoors in most cases.
